The capital camp-in

NCAC is celebrating 100 Years of Camping however we can, which means it’s time for an online camp-in!

Join NCAC Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-24, for our first ever digital camping experience. Perfect for the Scouting family, this event will feature live webinars, downloadable at-your-own-pace content, activity prompts, online games, and more. From Venturers to Cubs and Scouts BSA, Scouts (and Scouters) of all ages will discover something fun, engaging, and even helpful on the path to advancement. So grab your cooking gear, fire pit, internet connection, and sleeping bag because we want you out of your bed and in a camp!

Even more at-your-own-pace content is coming!

Tips for a fun event:

  • Set up Camp: Find your tent/sleeping bag and enough room outdoors or in your home to set it up. You do not have to be a NCAC Scouter to participate and no registration is necessary!
  • Share the fun: Let other Scouts know you’re participating, join us on our live Facebook event, and share your photos with us all weekend long.
  • Stay Safe: While participating this weekend, we encourage you to follow your local social-distancing guidelines. It might also help to brush up on your Cyber Safety and Youth Protection.
  • A Scout is Thrifty: The event is free, but we do encourage a donation in the name of your local District
We’re working to make this a weekend of fun and discovery for all NCAC Scouts. If you have any questions, please email campin@ncacbsa.org.
