Are You Ready for Adventure?

While this year has certainly been filled with challenges, we’re ready for a summer filled with family adventures and fun. Explore the many online and outdoor programs we’re offering to scouts and their families. Choose your program and start your summer adventure!

  • Cub Family Summertime Passport: Cub Scouts have an opportunity to grow, learn, and have fun doing Cub Scout activities. The whole family can even earn a special patch.
  • NCAC Cub Scout FamilyAdventures Facebook Group: Get the latest news and new ideas every day.  Be sure to check out the Cub-A-Day ideas for family fun. Share photos from your adventures too!
  • Homecamping:  Webelos have the opportunity to earn adventure pins online with dedicated instructors.
  • Family Camping WeekendsSpend the weekend with your family at Camp Snyder or Goshen Scout Reservation.
  • NCAC Scouting at Home 2020 Award: The NCAC Scouting at Home 2020 Award recognizes Scouts for meeting the challenge of living by the Scout Oath and Law while the pandemic requires social distancing to be in place.
  • Homecamping:  Scouts have the opportunity to earn merit badges online with dedicated instructors.
  • New Scout Program: The perfect program for first-year campers who have recently crossed over from Cub Scouts or have just joined the Scouts. Work on a variety of rank advancement requirements, get an introduction to Scouting and have an opportunity to earn a few Merit Badges.
  • Family Camping WeekendsSpend the weekend with your family at Goshen Scout Reservation or Camp Snyder.
  • NCAC Scouting at Home 2020 Award: The NCAC Scouting at Home 2020 Award recognizes Scouts for meeting the challenge of living by the Scout Oath and Law while the pandemic requires social distancing to be in place.
  • Game Nights: Join other scouts for a night of fun and games on selected Fridays.
  • Summer Leadership Seminar: Improve your leadership by learning from experienced youth leaders.
  • Adventure Talks: This series of talks features exciting talks by adventurers.  Learn about the Appalachian Trail, Philmont, Biodiversity Station in Ecuador, biking across the USA, Scouting Jamborees, and more.

  • Family Fun Flag Fourth: Join us on July 4th with a whole day of activities. Celebrate July 4th with a challenge ‘distant’ climb of the Washington Monument, DIY ice cream, a Scout Bakeoff, Semaphore decoding, flag fun videos and crafting cards to servicemen and women!  Additional details coming soon.
  • International Trash the Trash Day – July 11: Join scouts around the world to pick up 1 MILLION pieces of trash. Register your unit here!
  • Do a Good Turn Weekend: Join us for multiple service projects that benefit our communities. Additional details coming soon.
  • STEM-a-THON: An extravaganza on September 5–7.  Have fun with Science Technology Engineering and Math. Additional details coming soon.
  • STEM@Home Career Nights: Learn from professionals about future career opportunities in STEM.
  • Why? Wednesdays: Learn about science or try out an experiment.
  • STEM@Home Nova Event: Work on Nova Awards from the comfort of your home!
  • Exploring the world of Data Science:  This Data Science Lab has a program for youth ages 13 & up to learn computer programming and apply their data visualization skills to community service projects!
