Putting the ‘Outing’ in Scouting

The USVI District is blessed to have in its backyard 17 acres of open campground with beach frontage and more sunny days than not. In addition to tent camping, Camp Howard M. Wall, established on St. Croix in 1976, includes a main building for orientation/meetings, a full kitchen, three large covered open pavilions and an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea.

Some activities available at Camp Wall include:

  • Archery (safety Instruction prior)
  • BB Guns (safety Instruction prior)
  • Sling Shots (safety Instruction prior)
  • Swimming/Wading
  • Kayaks
  • Snorkeling (for advanced swimmers)
  • Royaks
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Soccer
  • Frisbee/Ultimate
  • Board Games/Cards
  • Crafts
  • Service Projects
  • C.O.P.E. Course (anticipated to be available in 2017)
