The Scouter Digest has gone digital!
As of March 1st, you can find it online at WeOwnAdventure.com. There, you’ll find the same great Scouter stories and content that you’ve come to depend upon, but in a more convenient and regularly updated format.
“We know young people and their families love Scouting, and now they have the ability to more readily share their adventures with a larger community,” said Richard Harrington, NCAC VP of Marketing and Communications.
Updated daily, WeOwnAdventure.com will bring Scouting news to the convenience of your tablet or phone and provide a direct portal to those who have stories to share. Scouters can simply click on “Submit Your News”, and fill in the blanks to submit a story and photos.
While this new site will become the publication of record for the Council, the hardcopy Digest isn’t going away. For those who still like the feel of a paper, a more limited version will continue to be published, albeit on a modified schedule, and will include highlights from the site and other Council stories.
“This gives our Scouts another opportunity to be recognized for the great things they’re doing – whether it’s a fun campout or a service project in their community,” said Harrington. “The other benefit is that their excitement will help spread the spirit of Scouting to new families.”
