Photo Patrol Welcomes Its First Members!

NCAC’s new Photo Patrol is proud to welcome our first official members! In case you haven’t heard about it, the Photo Patrol’s job is to help improve our Council’s visual storytelling by taking and sharing great pictures and video of Scouts in action. Once they’re in the Patrol, they will serve as official “Council Photographers” at future events and have a great new patch to show for it!

To absolutely no one’s surprise, our first member is the irreplaceable Dan Glass! If you’ve seen a picture of Goshen Scout Reservation that took your breath away and made you long for campfires and Scoutcraft, odds are good he took it. To help get you in the mood for next week’s Goshen@50, take a few moments to watch his drone video from last summer:

Our next member of the Patrol is Kristi West of Pack 0665. Kristi gets bonus points for getting her picture on the McLean Connection news site!

The final member of our initial class gets a special mention because she helped come up with the idea for the Photo Patrol – Sara Holtz of Pack 1530! In addition to this great photo Sara shared a nice example of her pack’s “Year in Review” video.

Congratulations, and thanks for the great pictures! Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
