Powhatan District Membership Committee
The District Membership Committee is responsible for the membership recruitment of youth in the District and aids with activities related to membership at the Pack, Troop, Crew and District Levels.
How We Can Help Your Unit
The membership committee supports local units by providing BSA recruiting events that promote youth growth and leadership growth. The committee can provide the tools needed to successfully recruit youth and adults into the Scouting program.
- Organization of new packs, troops, and/or crews
- Identification of recruiting methods for chartered organizations and unit
- Cultivate interest of potential chartered organizations and community groups
- Implement year-round full membership plan
