Please join us for the 24th annual Loudoun County Good Scout Award Evening on Monday, November 13th.  This year we will recognize Lew Parker with the 2023 Loudoun County Good Scout Award.

Lew Parker is a model of innovation in two distinct industries that have had lasting positive effects on Loudoun County’s and Virginia’s economic and cultural landscape. Lew was part of the founding team of K2M, a medical device company focused on treating the most complex spinal deformities. K2M swiftly became a paramount high-tech employer in the region, producing revolutionary devices that have transformed the lives of patients around the world. Additionally, Lew was one of the pioneers of the Virginia wine industry. Over four decades ago, Willowcroft Farm Vineyards became Loudoun County’s first winery, igniting a robust industry of growers and wineries that turn out award-winning wines and fuel local tourism. Lew’s philanthropic pursuits promote the next generation of scientific, engineering and medical talent in our region. The Willowcroft Foundation awards scholarships and grants to exemplary students, teachers and medical researchers who are using their talent to improve our community and country.
