SFS is offering the following NRA Firearms courses this fall.
OCTOBER
Sat 24 Basic Pistol/HQL
Sat 25 Basic Pistol/HQL
Sat 31 Shotgun Instructor
NOVEMBER
Sun 1 Rifle Instructor
Tue 3 Basic Pistol/HQL
Sat 7 Pistol Instructor
Sun 8 Pistol Instructor
S/S 14-15 CCW Instructor
NRA Standards Require:
- The corresponding Student course must be taken prior to the Instructor course.
- Pistol Instructor is a prerequisite to attend the CCW Instructor Course.
- BIT must be taken in the 2 years prior to attending an Instructor course. Please Call.
Except for CCW, Courses encompass one full day.
MD and DC require 16 hours of training.
Either Pistol or CCW meet VA CCW training Requirements.
Either Pistol or CCW meet FL CCW training Requirements.
A MD CCW permit meets PA training Requirements.
Basic Pistol meets MD HQL training Requirements.
A 2 hour Utah Law module can be added to meet Utah CCW training Requirements.
CCW meets MD Wear and Carry (CCW) training Requirements.
A two hour Utah Law module can be added to meet the Utah CCW training Requirements.
A two hour DC Law module can be added to meet the DC CCW training Requirements.
Maximum course size is 5 people, on a private range.
A wide variety of firearms will be used in the courses.
Range Time, Ear Muffs and Safety Glasses are included in all courses.
Family groups may be accommodated based on size and environment.
Firearms and Ammo is included in Basic Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun.
Pistols, Holsters, and Ammo can be supplied for CCW if you do not have your own.
