Ideas to Show Appreciation?

Hello Seneca Scouters!  We would like to do everything we can to show our appreciation to all medical personnel and first responders always, but especially right now. What are some ideas we can do to show our appreciation? Here are some the Key 3 have come up with

  • How about having Scouts create a sign that can be placed in their yard? Something like “Thank you to all First Responders from Pack/Troop/Crew/Ship nnnn”!
  • Or, if you can sew and have fabric laying around, make masks for your doctor’s office or other first responders, there are lots of patterns on the web
  • or, if anyone has a 3D printer, there is a pattern for making strap holders to hold face masks on while giving the wearer a break on their ears. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4249113
  • If you own a camper/RV and are willing, there are a number of medical people who would love a place to stay near their families where they can be separate so they do not take a chance on infecting them while they are caring for people with the COVID-19 virus. There is a FaceBook page called “RVs for MDs to Fight Corona Virus”
