Eagle Scout Musings
August 28, 2019
Please Remember . . . .
There is a tremendous amount of honor, privilege and prestige that comes to an Eagle Scout as a Scout. While there is no age minimum for advancement to Eagle Scout, you should take advantage of being an Eagle Scout as a Scout for as long a period of time as is possible.
It’s easy ! ! ! Live your life by the Scout Oath, the Scout Law, the Scout Motto and the Scout Slogan.
Participate and consistently demonstrate Leadership in your Troop, Crew or Team and in your daily life.
- Be positive in all things
- Display initiative
- Show good judgment and moral leadership
- Set a good example for all
- Teach others what you have learned.
- Complete all requirements before your eighteenth (18th) birthday.
Once you have turned 18, you are no longer a Scout; you are an adult, and the honor, privilege and prestige that comes to an Eagle Scout as a Scout “changes”. However, . . . . once you have turned 18, you will be an Eagle Scout for the rest of your life, and this is a truly wonderful thing.
