Venturing Logo transparentPowhatan District Venturing has been continuing to grow and we are working together to do more district-wide activities (social, service, training, you name it!). Come check us out!

Venturing Position-Specific Training
At our last training workshop, half a dozen Venturing leaders received their official “Trained” strip for their uniform. If anyone else needs to get trained in the new program (new and refreshers welcome), join us for our next Powhatan District training for Advisor-Specific (P21) and Crew Committee Challenge (WS21) workshop. As always, feel free to look through the website calendars to find training dates that may better fit your schedule if needed.
– Contact Dawn Zacherl to request a workshop near you.

Network with other Venturing leaders at Roundtable!
Venturing Tag Cloud created by At monthly “Roundtable” meetings, we join scout leaders of all levels in our District every 2nd Thursday of the month — check our District Calendar to verify the address. Each Crew sends their Crew President and Advisor (or delegated representatives) to (1) pick up your Crew’s “mail” from your district file folder, (2) meet for our All Hands announcements/handouts, and then (3) head to the nearby breakout room to discuss that month’s Venturing-specific program (training, service project, forums, etc.)
– Contact Jim Emery for more information.
