Interested in earning a Hornaday Unit award?

Your unit can earn the Hornaday Unit award if 60% of your registered scouts participate. Scouts can come on any of the 4 days to reach the 60%.

Sara Holtz can guide you through the process & help you be successful. Contact her at conservation@powhatan-scouting.org

Interested in earning Hornaday Unit but Aug is a bad month?

Please contact me. I’m currently working with Pack 913 and Troop 2501 to earn this prestigious conservation award and I’ve also served as Hornaday Adviser for 4 units in other districts and councils since Jan. I’m ready to assist every unit in Powhatan to earn this award. Pollinator garden, native tree planting, invasive plant removal, erosion control, …

Need conservation hours but these dates in Aug won’t work?

Contact Sara Holtz for information and help getting a project started!
