Volunteering in Powhatan

Are you passionate about the values of Scouting?  Would you like to make a difference in the experience of local Scouts?  Are you a doer, the kind of individual who can make things happen? If so, you are the heart of Scouting, and Powhatan District can use your help.

Join the team of Scouters dedicated to helping Powhatan Packs, Troops, Crews, and Teams deliver excellence in Scouting programs for our community’s youth.  Some opportunities require little time, for example our days of service.  Others require more time and dedication and go a long way toward the betterment of Scouting.

Camp Snyder Work Days

If you have an hour or two to spare, come on out for some of the most satisfying fun a Scouter can have. We will be doing projects to keep Camp Snyder, our local outdoor facility, in great shape and ready for visits by Powhatan and other area Scouts. [ More ]
