At the April Roundtable for Unit Leaders, our focus will be on Social Media. We will provide some insight into importance, challenges and triumphs of using electronic communication to generate excitement about your unit’s activities, keep parents in the loop, and help Scouts stay engaged in your program – even when it’s not a pack, troop or crew meeting night.
We will have a focus on Scouting Skills (Knot Again!) with Frank Smith, Powhatan District’s most senior member.
We will have an open forum discussion on “Citizenship” from the perspective of integrating new Scouts into the Troop. This is an opportunity to share your ideas, while learning from the experience of other unit leaders.
The Troop Topic will be Living History. The Crew Caper will be Pioneering.
