The Old Dominion District Advancement Committee provides assistance for units to implement their Advancement and Recognition Program.

Five papers are available to develop an understanding of the capabilities offered.

Special Awards

BSA has special awards for scouts interested in conservation and the environment

The Boy Scouts of America developed the Nova and Supernova Awards programs to excite and expand a sense of wonder in Scouts by exploring principles of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.)
