Weather Policy
NCAC follows the federal government to determine when the Marriott Scout Service Center will be closed due to severe weather. To see the current status, please visit the U.S. Office of Personnel Management website.
If you have a meeting scheduled at the MSSC on a day when the OPM is closed or has a delayed arrival, please call in advance to make sure the meeting has not been rescheduled or delayed.
Camp William B. Snyder and the Scout Stores do not always follow the federal weather policy; on days when the MSSC is closed due to severe weather, please call in advance to determine if they are open.
Refund Policy
**For all Council Events- However some events may run by different policies.**
For events with fees of $25 or less per person, no refunds will be issued and the fees cannot be credited toward another event.
For events with fees over $25.00 per person, a full refund may be issued if the registration is cancelled within 3 days of being made. After 3 days of making the registration but not within 14 of the event the customer is charged 15% of the registration cost being cancelled. Once within 14 days of the event the customer is charged 100% of the registration cost being cancelled. A full refund may be made in the case of illness, military orders, or if the event is cancelled by the Council.
