Outdoor Ethics Orientation courses this summer

July 13, 2018

The Outdoor Ethics Orientation Course is a high level overview of BSA’s Outdoor Ethics program.  It is a 1.5 hour course.  We have a couple of offerings of the Outdoor Ethics Orientation Course coming up this summer.  See the links below:

Thursday, July 26, 7-8:30pm, Annandale, VA Register here

Saturday, August 4, 10-11:30am, Seneca Creek State Park, MD  Register here

This course qualifies Cub Scout adult leaders, Boy Scouts, and Boy Scout adult leaders to lead outdoor ethics activities in their unit.  Participants will receive an overview of the Outdoor Ethics program, be introduced to Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly.  There are hands-on activities.  You will take away references to learn more about outdoor ethics.

A donation of $2 is requested to cover cost of materials.  This is a 1.5 hour course.

You will receive proof of your completion of the course and your training record will be updated to reflect your completion of a Leave No Trace Awareness course.

We hope one of these dates works for you!
