#ShareScouting is all about sharing the story and impact of Scouting across the community and we need your help. The most powerful way to grow your family’s unit and the Scouting program is to have a parent talking to another parent about the value of Scouting, or a Scout inviting one friends to join the fun and adventure.

We challenge you to #ShareScouting in August and throughout the recruiting season!

It has been proven that the Scouting adventure only gets stronger when more kids are involved and Scouts participate with their friends and peers. With more youth there are greater opportunities, more parent involvement, and stronger community ties.

Share your Scout’s favorite memory or accomplishment from this summer with your friends on social media and let them know what Scouting means to you and your family.

Bring a friend to a Scout Night or other Scouting activity, then post photos of Scouts and their friends having a blast on your social media channels. Head to your Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts and upload a photo with the hashtag #ShareScouting.

NCAC Social Media Week is Aug. 27-Sept. 2!

During the week of August 27, ask every Scout parent in your unit to share a photo, video, or other memory of their Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturer, Sea Scout or Explorer having fun at a Scouting activity. Use the hashtag #ShareScouting or #myNCAC so we can see it too!

Then, invite friends to learn more about Scouting! Share your Scout unit’s Join Scouting Night information on social media, and encourage your friends to visit
