The NCAC STEM Committee is hosting the 4th annual STEM University on June 15, 2019 for all youth and adults! 

It’s the first event this year to offer the NEW Scouts BSA Nova – Up and Away! (partial requirements)

The Einstein Science Fair – to show off your science fair projects. And it counts toward Nova Requirements

Adults can take Nova Counselor and Mentor Training

Under the direction of Roger Claff and Peter Snow, Powhatan District has hosted a Chess Classic for a decade! This year, they are expanding the Chess Classic to be Council-wide. Sign up for one of the STEM Classes at University of Scouting! There are 11 STEM classes in the College of Electives at University of Scouting, several of them new this year! Sign up for the class about the STEM Shack (makerspace) at Camp Snyder, learn about STEM Scouts, get trained to become a Nova Counselor & Supernova Mentor, and/or take classes on hands-on STEM activities!
