About Our District
Welcome
The Patriot District is part of the new Fairfax County field service area in the National Capital Area Council. Patriot District is the home to 48 Scout units and is looking forward to being joined by an additional 26 Scout units in a newly constituted District as part of the ongoing Council alignment project. When the alignment is complete, our District of 76 Packs, Troops, Crews, and Ships will serve nearly 3,000 youth in the areas of Annandale, Burke, West Springfield, Lorton, Fairfax and Fairfax Station in Fairfax County, Virginia. Patriot is a very diverse district with plenty of different units to fit the needs of all youth and adults. We are very proud of our youth and strive to continue to build and shape tomorrow’s leaders.
