The NCAC would like to welcome and share some of our recent staff updates:
Director of Development Clinton Hammett will be serving as the Director of Development effective
immediately. Beginning with the BSA in November of 2006 in Utica, N.Y. and
joining the NCAC team in 2008, Clint has built a record of excellence in every
assignment. Clint will continue to support the team members and volunteers in
Montgomery County and offers a special thank you to all those who have
continued to deliver excellence year after year.
Trisha Dalal, STEM
Coordinator A Maryland native, Trisha comes to us from New York where she began studying engineering
(later concentrating in math), working in both the non-profit and for-profit
worlds with water technologies and solar energy products. She finds herself
particularly drawn to uses for STEM facets in developing countries and has
joined our council eager to create more STEM opportunities and drive awareness
of their applications. Trisha attended the London School of Economics
where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics.
Old Dominion District Executive Prior to joining NCAC, Justin’s career focused on providing youth mentoring
that integrates resource conservation with outdoor play and recreation. His
past jobs includes serving as a naturalist for the Fairfax County Government
and the Center for Wetlands Conservation, and as mountain bike camp director
for the Fairfax-based extreme sports company American Inline. Justin also has
experience in digital and multimedia content creation and promotion and he
holds a B.S. in biology from Christopher Newport University.
Powhatan District Executive A native of Fairfax County, Evan has more than 25 years of government service,
having recently retired as a public diplomacy officer for the U.S. Department
of State. In that capacity he served in embassies in Argentina, Sri Lanka and
Venezuela, and is a two-time recipient of the State Department Meritorious
Honor Award. Evan holds a Bachelor of International Studies degree from Miami
University and is trilingual, being fluent in Spanish and conversational Portuguese
with a basic understanding of Tamil.
