Below is an outline for Registration at Goshen for 2014. We are designing the process to be easier and more efficient.
For the 2014 Season, your Goshen team has listened to and implemented many of the feedback items submitted to us over the summer. The result is an online registration process that is simpler and more user-friendly. We have done away with the Unit Site Deposit and the Hat Deposit. Instead, it is our hope to process only one payment per registered camper.
Online Registration Opens in October - Each Unit is encouraged to nominate an adult to handle registrations for the week of Camp. This person will register one leader and secure the Unit's reservation. Only one person should handle registration on behalf of the Unit.
As Scouts and their families commit to coming to camp, the Unit Registrar will enter them into the online registration portal and make a payment.
NEW! Each Participant will need to Pay in Full to be considered registered for 2014 Goshen Summer Programs.
Please be sure that the Unit is fully committed to attending Goshen in 2014 before making the Registrar Payment. The Registrar Payment is non-refundable.

Q: Why are we only registering one unit leader at this time?
A: At this time we are only registering one leader in order to secure a spot for the unit and also to remove the burden of the rollover deposit. This money will be applied directly to leader fees or, if the unit is eligible, refunded after the camp season. The program schedule for 2014 is not yet complete and therefore we are restricting registration to a one-per-unit basis until we fully implement the system in the New Year.
Q: What if I want to register and pay for my campers now?
A: The enthusiasm that some of our units have for Goshen is greatly appreciated. We are not ready to begin accepting payments for Campers and anticipate that this feature will open in January. Any unit that is worried about losing a spot for Goshen should rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to keep the process as fair as possible.
Q: Why does my password from last year not work anymore?
A: In order to make the corrections and streamline processes suggested by volunteers after the close of the 2013 season, our developers suggested that it would be easier to start the 2014 season with a clean slate. Therefore all of the 2013 records were removed from the season so that the most current leader of a unit would be able to sign up and manage the reservation moving forward.
