Camp Howard Wall
 is located on the south coast of St. Croix, the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands and just a two and a half hour plane ride from Miami.  


Camp Wall is a hidden treasure of a camp,which provides 17 acres of open campground for tent lodging with beach frontage. There is a main building for orientation, a large full kitchen, 3 large covered open pavilions, a climbing wall and advanced COPE course, a shooting range, kayaks and royaks, and an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea.  The camp is your stepping stone to untold island adventures, such as:

 

·  Swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving

·  Sailing to Buck Island Reef National Monument

·  Turtle watching at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge (home of the largest nesting population of leatherback sea turtles in the US)

 ·  Visiting Salt River Bay National Park and Ecological Preserve, site of Columbus’ second voyage landing and first recorded encounter with early inhabitants. At night and during certain seasons the park has bioluminescent kayak tours, one of 7 places in the world.

·  Fishing for reef fish, tuna, dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo and marlin

·  Visiting Whim Great House and learning the cultural history of the island when sugar was king

·  Hiking isolated beaches, New Caledonia Gut and the rain forest

·  Learning about Maroon Ridge

·  Enjoying West Indian food (man soup) and culture
