Camp Howard Wall
 is located on the south coast of St. Croix, the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands and just a two and a half hour plane ride from Miami.  


Camp Wall is a hidden treasure of a camp,which provides 17acres of open campground for tent lodging with beach frontage. There is a main building for orientation, a large full kitchen, 3 large covered, open pavilions, a climbing wall and advanced COPES course, a shooting range and an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea.  The camp is your stepping stone to untold island adventures, such as:

 

·  Swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving

·  Sailing to Buck Island Reef National Monument

·  Turtle watching at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge (home of the largest nesting population of leatherback sea turtles in the US)

 ·  Visiting Salt River Bay Historical Park and Ecological Preserve (site of Columbus’ second voyage landing and first recorded encounter with early inhabitants)

·  Fishing for reef fish, tuna, dolphin, wahoo and marlin

·  Visiting Whim Great House and learning the cultural history of the island where sugar was king

·  Hiking isolated beaches, New Caledonia Gut and the rain forest

·  Learning about Maroon Ridge
