All ordeal candidates that have been elected during the election period (November to May ) should have received a written notice confirming their candidacy and an invitation to attend the upcoming ordeal for their chapter.
If you are unable to participate in your chapter ordeal you must contact your chapter adviser to make arrangements to attend one of the other listed ordeals. You must make arrangements in advance to attend an ordeal outside of your chapter/district.
All registered participants certify that they have read the Amangamek-Wipit Lodge Participant Code of Conduct and Statement of Understanding and agree to abide by the conditions contained therein. If you have NOT read the Code of Conduct, use the link below to download the document.
Old Dominion Spring Ordeal Weekend
May 9th – May 11th

All Arrowmen: Every member of the Lodge is invited to join in this time of service and fellowship. Members must be present and acting in accordance with our values in order to lead by example. Please give of your time to help our new brothers on their long journey; help us honor them by working alongside them.
When: Chapter Ordeal Weekend will be Friday evening May 9th to Sunday morning May 11th. Check-in for this event will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening, concluding Sunday morning at approximately 11:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as cleanup and checkout are completed.
Members - If your dues are not current you will need to pay them through the Lodge website (www.ncacbsa.org/oadues). Print out the receipt/invoice from the website and bring it with you to the Ordeal. If you do not have your OALM # contact the Ordeal Adviser listed on Lodge Inductions Page.

BSA Health and Medical form is required for Ordeal Weekends!
Check-in: Check-in for members will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Ordeal candidates must arrive and check in no later than 8:00 p.m. in order to participate in the Pre-Ordeal ceremony. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE as it delays the program and ceremonies.
Discounts: No discount is available.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds for events with fees of $25.00 and over, may be granted (less 15% handling fee) for the following reasons: sickness (with physician's statement), relocation, or death in the family. Refund requests must be in writing and received by the Chapter Ordeal Adviser, 30 days prior to the event. Fees cannot be credited toward another event. Refunds are not available for events with fees under $25.00.
Work Projects - Tools Needed: To support the service project that will be performed, you may be asked to bring tools, please ensure that they are identified with your full name and unit number. Please DO NOT bring tools that are in poor condition. All equipment that you bring should be in safe working condition, and must be clearly marked with you identification BEFORE you leave home. It is your responsibility to ensure that any tools you bring are removed from the Ordeal site when you leave.
Elangomats: Arrowmen may give service to the lodge and their fellow Arrowmen by serving as an Elangomat. Elangomats are those Arrowmen who unselfishly go through the Ordeal as a friend to new Order of the Arrow candidates. Contact your Chapter Ordeal Adviser, if you wish to serve as an Elangomat.
