Cub Scout Day Camp 2014

CSI: Cub Scout Investigations Day and Twilight Camp

Goose Creek District Day/Twilight Camp at Morven Park, Leesburg, VA

Goose Creek District's 2014 Cub Scout Day Camp theme is Detectives (CSI: Cub Scout Investigations). Day Camp runs June 16th - 20th (Monday through half-day Friday), from 9 am to 4 pm, with a half-day on Friday. Twilight Camp runs June 16th - 19th (Monday – Thursday), from 6:30 pm to dusk. Siblings are welcome.

Boys will enjoy shooting BB-guns, archery, and sling-shots. Science will teach the boys the secrets behind forensics gathering. In Crafts the boys will be building cool projects. Sports and Den time are also offered. Throughout the week, special events will keep the boys delighted.

For those who can’t get to Day Camp, Goose Creek District will again offer Twilight Camp. This wildly popular camp offers four stations per night: BB guns, archery, sling shots, and a Scout craft. Twilight Camp will be held Monday through Thursday from 6:30 pm until dusk.

Tiger Cub Scouts through Webelos are eligible to attend Day Camp. Each Tiger Cub must have an adult partner attend camp with them and one additional adult per every five boys is required to escort the Detectives through camp.

Day Camp Registration is done by a Pack Coordinator. Registration will begin mid-February, 2014. Check with your Cubmaster or Committee Chair for your Pack Day Camp Coordinator’s information.
