Scout Retreat: Following His Footsteps
retreat is open to all Boy Scouts and members of Venture Crews (including those
from other councils). Activities begin Friday evening with
registration from 5:00 – 8:30 pm.
Saturday includes morning services, a variety of activity stations, many
including requirements for advancement and/or merit badges, and the traditional
evening camp fire, skits, and band. There
will also be opportunities for Chaplain’s Aide training and Religious Emblem
Counselor Training for both Catholic and Protestant emblems.
Registration, Child/Youth Protection, and Logistics
fee of $15.00 per participant is payable onsite (please make checks payable to
the Catholic Committee on Scouting). We
ask that units pre-register so that we may estimate the number of participants
and purchase supplies. There are a limited number of sites with
space for a trailer. Lone Scouts are
also invited to attend. Please

retreat attendees (youth and adults) must be listed on the unit roster. The $15 registration fee applies to both
youth and adults. All registered
participants receive the 2014 commemorative patch.
