Frederick48 - Community Giving Campaign

Posted By AT District News, Friday, August 16, 2013

We are calling all of Frederick to join together in a giving revolution on September 26th and 27th.

We need YOU to join together with businesses, schools, community organizations and faith based communities for a giving revolution to help local non-profits serve the most in need in our community: the poor, the homeless, youth at risk and those overwhelmed with medical bills.

If only 8% of the 87,000 family units in Frederick gave $50 we could more than cover the need of the poor, the homeless, youth at risk and those without healthcare.

Matching funds have been raised to make every dollar you donate go further!   You can make a difference!

Charity organizations accepting donations with matching funds include:

  • Advocates for Homeless Families
  • Alzheimer's Association
  • ARC of Frederick County
  • Boys and Girls Club of Frederick County
  • Frederick Community Action Agency
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Heartly House
  • Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs....and many others
