WATERWHEEL: Cub Scouts & siblings
11:30 AM – 1 PM or 1:30PM – 3PM
(both sessions are the same, two opportunities to participate)
Learn the physics of levers (while working on requirements for Nova Swing), experiment with velocity of waterwheels, then build a  working wooden waterwheel (7.5″ diameter) in our woodshop to take home and experiment with further.

Microsoft has worked with Boy Scouts of America to design curriculae that meet Cub Scout advancement requirements. Cubs will earn requirements 3-5 of the Tech Talk! Nova Award. Register here.

U.S. D.O.E. and E.I.A Scout Day
November 5, 2016 | 9AM –  1PM
The annual Nuclear Science and Energy Scout Day is just around the corner! The event will be held at the U.S. D.O.E. building in DC and is a program for Boy Scouts to work on either their Nuclear Science or Energy Merit Badge with some pre-work. Although the event is free, registration is required due to limited capacity. Registration will go live on Monday, Sept 26 at 4:30 PM from this link:
